Equine Assisted Family Therapy: Utilizing Horses in Brief, Systemic Clinical Work

This workshop will introduce participants to Equine Assisted Family Therapy and demonstrate the benefits of incorporating horses into the therapeutic process.  Through live demonstrations the presenters will illustrate the value of working with horses in creating novel ways to explore relationship dymanics and patterns of behavior, and to develop useful metaphors with clients.  Participants will also explore the use of  an equine assisted approach in developing , questioning and refining their own therapeutic approach.  The workshop will be conducted on site at the beautiful 15 acre Stable Foundations location  in Davie, Florida

This workshop is approved for 6 CEU's  for Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.   

Registration Fees:    Student/Intern-  $45.00;  Professionals - $100.00
